About Paul Hutchinson DJ
I started DJing in 1988 on vinyl, inspired by Frankie Knuckles and Masters At Work. One of the first DJs in my home town to play in a bar in Colchester, Essex and it was rammed Thurs-Sun for 3 years solid.
I took some time out in 1992 when my son was born and didn’t really get back into DJing until In 2010, when I won an award from Pioneer DJ after entering their The King Of The Decks competition. This is what gave me the belief in my abilities as a DJ and the kick start I needed to push on with my career.
“I get such a buzz from seeing people dancing and smiling, there is no better feeling in the world than seeing people dance to the music that I select”. When you see Paul behind the decks you can really see his passion shine through.
Places I have played: Miami Winter Music Conference (2013), Ibiza (Es Paradis, Eden, Savannah, Ibiza Rocks, Bora Bora, Tulp, Hush, Plastik, Ocean Beach), Italy, Madrid, Barcelona, Estepona, Marbella, London (Pacha, Egg, Fabric, Printworks), Amsterdam (ADE), New Zealand, and numerous clubs and bars around the UK.
In 2016 I launched my own House Music brand “Mi Casa Es Tu Casa”, with regular parties in Ibiza, Italy, Amsterdam and parties in the UK and Spain.
In January 2021 I released my Debut album “Looking Back” which is a selection of tracks produced over the last 10 years, featuring FiL Straughan & Paul Hardcastle Jnr to name just 2. More recently I have been working for iconic brand Clockwork Orange as Artist Accreditation Manager and have DJ’d on numerous events for Danny & Andy the owners including Clockstock, Fabric, Printworks and in Ibiza.
Finally…I host a weekly radio show on Marbella Beach Grooves Radio which is on FM and online, the show goes out every Friday at 11am EST.
